Historic Waterworks open & steaming

Come and see Goulburn's original 1883 steam beam engine used to supply the city's water.

Take the opportunity to have a picnic on the banks of the Wollondilly River.

While you are here:

  • take a tour of the Pumphouse Museum and historic Waterworks;
  • see the 120 year old Appleby Beam Engine and Hick Hargreaves Corliss Valve Engine under steam;
  • enjoy lunch, morning or afternoon tea at the Pumphouse Cafe; or
  • bring your own for a picnic by the river
  • play at the childrens' playground
  • fish for trout in Marsden Weir between October and June long weekends.

Entry is by donation.
