Oberon Region…
Set high up on the plateau and on the doorstep of several National Parks, Oberon is the perfect base for active visitors, and in particular mountain bikers. Around the town itself you will find numerous bike trails suitable all levels of fitness and experience. If you still need more then head to nearby Kanangra-Boyd and Abercrombie River National Parks. You will certainly find something there to test you to the limit.

But there is more to Oberon than just mountain biking. The area provides wonderful opportunities for bushwalking and camping, as well as canyoning, caving, fossicking and some of the best trout fishing anywhere in Australia.

However you choose to get your adrenaline rush the Visitors Information Centre should be your first port of call.
